Acceptable use policy

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to everything Register Quick LLC runs: the public website with its guides and comparison pages, your account in the founder dashboard or the partner portal, the features behind them that call other companies' systems on your behalf, our AI assistant, and anything we file for you with a state or with the IRS.

It is part of our terms of service. Breaking this policy is breaking those terms, so the consequences in section 8 sit alongside everything the terms already allow us to do.

2. Using the service honestly

You may not:

• give us false, misleading or incomplete information about a company, its owners, its managers or the people we should contact;
• impersonate anyone, or claim authority to act for a company or a client when you do not have it;
• use another person's identity documents, or documents that have been altered;
• open accounts in order to resell our service as your own without a partner agreement — partner accounts exist for exactly that purpose;
• use a company we formed for an unlawful purpose. Our prohibited and restricted businesses page lists what we will not form a company for and what we review case by case.

Filings are the sharp end of this. A formation document is a statement to a state government, and the person who signs it carries the consequences of what it says. We prepare filings from the information you give us; we do not invent it and we cannot verify all of it.

3. Using our systems

You may not:

• scrape or crawl the site beyond what our robots rules allow, or bulk-download our guides, comparison pages or state fee data;
• probe, scan or test the security of our systems without our written permission — if you think you have found a vulnerability, report it the way our security page asks;
• try to reach another customer's account, company records or documents, whether by guessing identifiers, using someone else's credentials or any other route;
• get around rate limits, authentication, payment or any other control we put in place;
• upload or transmit malware, or anything designed to damage or interfere with the service;
• create accounts automatically, or run scripted sign-ups;
• reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise try to extract the source of the service, except where the law says you may;
• use the site or any address you obtain through it to send spam or bulk unsolicited messages.

4. Using Ella, our AI assistant

Ella answers questions on the public site. You may not use her to:

• produce unlawful content, or content that helps someone break the law;
• generate misleading claims about what Register Quick LLC does, what it costs or what it can guarantee;
• process other people's personal data — do not paste a client's passport details, address or identity documents into the chat;
• run automated or bulk queries, or use the chat as an unmetered route to the model behind it.

5. Content standards

Anything you upload or type — company names, document text, notes, support messages — must be:

• lawful in the United States and where you are;
• yours to use, and not infringing anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
• free of abuse, harassment and threats, including towards our staff;
• free of malware and of code intended to run somewhere it should not;
• truthful, where it is going into a filing or an application.

6. Our guides and comparison pages

Our guides are free to read and free to cite. Quote a short extract, say where it came from and link back to the page — that is welcome and you do not need to ask.

You may not republish a guide in full, mirror it, or copy the site's content, structure or data to build a competing service. Our comparison pages name other companies only to compare facts those companies publish themselves. Reusing those pages to imply something we did not say is not covered by the permission above.

7. Fair use of support and the assistant

Where a feature sounds unlimited — support, reminders, questions to the assistant — it is meant for normal business use by a person running a company, or by a firm running its clients' companies. It is not meant to carry automated traffic. We may throttle, queue or suspend use that is automated, abusive or heavy enough to degrade the service for other customers. If you have a genuine high-volume need, write to us and we will talk about it rather than quietly cut you off.

8. What happens if you break this policy

What we do depends on how serious it is. A first, minor or apparently accidental breach usually gets a warning and a chance to fix it. Persistent or automated misuse gets throttled. Serious or repeated breaches lead to suspension, and then to termination of the account under the terms of service.

• Anything unlawful is suspended immediately, without a warning first.
• Where we believe an account is being used for a crime, we may report it to the relevant authorities and give them what they lawfully ask for.
• We may decline to act further on a filing that we believe contains false information.

If we end registered agent service, act quickly. A US company must have a registered agent in its state at all times. Appoint a replacement agent before our appointment ends, or the company can fall out of good standing — which means penalties, loss of the right to do business there, and eventually administrative dissolution by the state. We will tell you the date our appointment ends and make your documents available to download.

9. Reporting abuse to us

If you think someone is misusing Register Quick LLC, or misusing a company we formed, tell us at [email protected]. Include what you saw, where you saw it, any company name or order reference you have, and the dates involved. Send links rather than screenshots where you can — they are easier for us to check.

We acknowledge abuse reports within 5 business days. We will not always be able to tell you what we did about a report, because the account you are reporting has privacy rights too, but every report is read by a person. Copyright complaints have their own route — see copyright and DMCA.
