How much does ZenBusiness cost over two years for a Wyoming LLC?

Here is what a founder outside the US pays in the first two years for a single-member Wyoming LLC: formation, two years of plan and registered agent fees, and Wyoming's first yearly report fee. For ZenBusiness we show Pro, and Starter with the EIN and operating agreement add-ons. Every column uses Wyoming's standard online filing fee.

Two-year cost for a single-member Wyoming LLC, prices as of September 2026

ZenBusiness Pro with its registered agent comes to $859 over two years, $2 less than our Starter plan, and both file your annual report. What differs is the rest: Starter includes a US business address with mail scanning and files your EIN application without an SSN, while ZenBusiness Pro adds 1-business-day processing, up to two amendment filings a year and a logo builder.

ZenBusiness Starter costs the least of these four at $659, if you file Wyoming's annual report yourself in year two. Keep Worry-Free Compliance after its free year and it's $858. If the $99 first-year agent offer ends, add $100 to both ZenBusiness totals. On our Pro plan, the Wyoming LLC comes to $2,161 with Form 5472 prepared each year.

Can ZenBusiness get an EIN without an SSN?

ZenBusiness Pro and Premium include an EIN, the IRS's tax ID for businesses, and Starter customers can add one for $99. For owners without a Social Security number (SSN), its help center says ZenBusiness "can help prepare Form SS-4 for non-resident applicants" if you contact its support team.

Its step-by-step guide for owners without an SSN describes getting an ITIN (an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) first, or calling the IRS. Ask ZenBusiness which route it will use for you and how long it expects, because your bank and payment applications usually wait for the EIN.

On our Starter plan, we prepare and file Form SS-4 for you when you have no SSN or ITIN. On Pro, we apply by phone as your designee, the person you authorize on the form to deal with the IRS. See how to get an EIN without an SSN and ITIN vs SSN vs EIN.

Renewals, add-ons and special offers to watch

ZenBusiness is clear that its paid plans and special offers renew automatically. These are the costs to plan for:

  • Pro or Premium plan: renews at $199 or $299 a year. Starter doesn't renew.
  • Registered agent: not on any plan card. $99 for the first year when you form an LLC, then $199 a year. Every LLC needs one, as our registered agent guide explains.
  • Worry-Free Compliance on Starter: free for the first year, then $199 a year if you keep it. It covers the annual report and up to two amendments; state fees are extra.
  • Starter add-ons: EIN $99, operating agreement template $99, and $79 for rush processing instead of 7–10 business days.
  • Trials and tools: the website builder renews at $15 a month after 30 days, and Money Pro bookkeeping is $30 a month.

With us, Starter renews at $349 a year and keeps the registered agent, US business address, mail scanning and annual report filing. State fees are passed through at cost. Compare plans on our pricing page, and see yearly state costs in LLC annual fees by state.

Form 5472 and taxes: what does ZenBusiness cover?

ZenBusiness offers tax filing through its partner April: $899 a year for a single-member LLC and $1,399 for multi-member LLCs and corporations. April's scope excludes some foreign-ownership filings, such as Forms 5471, 8865 and 8858, and neither ZenBusiness's tax page nor April's help article mentions Form 5472.

For a foreign-owned LLC, Form 5472 is the yearly federal filing to plan for. A US single-member LLC owned by a non-US person generally files Form 5472 with a pro forma Form 1120 for each year it has reportable transactions with its owner, such as money you put in or take out, including formation costs. That can apply in a year with no income, and the IRS penalty for not filing is $25,000. Source: IRS instructions for Form 5472.

Our Pro plan includes Form 5472 and the pro forma 1120, prepared by our US tax partner, for $999 a year. We're not a CPA firm, so confirm your own filing requirements with a US CPA. Read our Form 5472 guide and US taxes for non-resident LLC owners.

Which should you choose?

  • You're based in the US and want compliance filings handled every year: ZenBusiness Pro.
  • You're outside the US without an SSN or ITIN: our Starter plan, which files your EIN application without either number.
  • A lower two-year cost, and you'll file the annual report yourself: ZenBusiness Starter with add-ons, about $659 for a Wyoming LLC.
  • Form 5472, the annual report and a US address in one plan: our Pro plan.
  • Selling formation to clients: ZenBusiness's enterprise program is built for software platforms; our white-label partner plans are built for accountants and CA/CS firms.

Frequently asked questions

Does ZenBusiness include a registered agent?
Not on the plans shown on its plan cards in September 2026. The registered agent is a separate service at $199 a year, with the first year at $99 when you form an LLC. An FAQ on the same page describes a $399 Premium plan that includes an agent, so confirm what's included at checkout.
Can non-US residents use ZenBusiness?
Yes. ZenBusiness publishes a guide for non-US owners, and its help center says support can help non-resident applicants prepare Form SS-4 for an EIN. There's no separate plan for founders abroad. Budget for the registered agent, which is sold separately, and for Form 5472, which its tax partner doesn't mention.
Is ZenBusiness Pro a yearly subscription?
Yes. Pro costs $199 a year plus state fees and renews at the same price, and Premium renews at $299. Starter is a $0 plan plus state fees that doesn't renew. ZenBusiness says special offers, such as Starter's free year of Worry-Free Compliance, renew automatically at the regular price unless you cancel.
Does ZenBusiness file Form 5472?
ZenBusiness offers tax filing through its partner April, at $899 a year for a single-member LLC, but its pages don't mention Form 5472, and April excludes some foreign-ownership filings. Ask before you buy. Our Pro plan includes Form 5472 and the pro forma 1120 for $999 a year.
Is ZenBusiness cheaper than Register Quick LLC?
It depends on the plan. Over two years, a Wyoming LLC comes to about $659 on ZenBusiness Starter with add-ons if you file the annual report yourself, $859 on ZenBusiness Pro with its registered agent, and $861 on our Starter plan, all including state fees.
What is ZenBusiness Worry-Free Compliance?
It's ZenBusiness's yearly compliance service. It files your state annual report and up to two amendments a year, with state fees extra. It's included in Pro and Premium, free for the first year with Starter, and $199 a year after that. Our Starter plan includes annual report filing in its yearly price.
